Brendan is an experienced government relations and communications consultant. He has advised clients across a diverse range of sectors including infrastructure, transport, minerals and resources, technology, planning and health. Brendan leads CPR’s federal government relations practice, including assisting clients wishing to address complex red-tape and regulatory issues. 

Examples of Brendan’s recent work include leading the development and implementation of a local government relations program for one of the world’s largest information technology companies, representing Australia’s largest retail pharmacy group in their dealings with the Federal Government’s Competition Policy Review and providing strategic advice to the Victorian Medical Research Institutes ahead of the announcement of the Medical Research Future Fund.

Brendan was an adviser to a Member of Parliament during the third and fourth terms of the Howard Government.  He worked previously as Manager, Public Affairs at one of Victoria’s largest industry associations, the Victorian Farmers Federation.

Brendan holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of Melbourne. He is a Non-Executive Director at FMC Mediation and Counselling, a significant provider of family and community programs.
