Tom Middleton joined CPR after nine years as an adviser to Federal Labor, including periods in both the Rudd and Gillard Governments and in Opposition.
Tom has advised members of the Federal Parliamentary Labor Party. He served as Deputy Chief of Staff to former Cabinet Minister Julie Collins and, most recently, was a strategy and campaigning adviser to Opposition Leader Bill Shorten.
Tom possesses strong skills in government and community liaison, media and communications and has significant experience working on state and federal election campaigns over the last decade.
In particular, Tom has broad networks and policy understanding in sport, at both local and national levels after advising the Opposition on sports’ policy over recent years.
