Create sustained and positive media attention for ACCIONA’s renewable energy operations in Australia.
Response
CPR provided ongoing communications, media and government relations support to ACCIONA. This included strategy development for five projects with detailed advice on messaging, stakeholder identification and management, and issue mitigation for its renewable energy projects. CPR then implemented the strategy, producing content and fostering positive proactive media relations with regional media outlets.
Result
Throughout the two years that CPR was engaged, ACCIONA enjoyed increased positive media coverage surrounding its wind and solar projects across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. ACCIONA was also successful in receiving Victorian Government support for its Mt Gellibrand Wind Farm.
